    CLC Schedules Free Program March 6
    Ewing , N.J. – “From clinical trials to medical advice to data on alternative medicines, the abundance of healthcare related information available online today is so staggering it can make finding reliable, reputable information a nearly overwhelming challenge.”   So says Anna Van Scoyoc, the featured speaker at The Computer Learning Center ’s newest “Computer Tips and Tricks” program scheduled for Tuesday, March 6.  The free presentation entitled “Finding and Evaluating Online Healthcare Information” will begin at 2 p.m. in the Ewing Senior and Community Center, 999 Lower Ferry Road .   It will be preceded at 1:30 p.m. by “Qs and A’s with the CLC Faculty” during which the audience can address computer questions to the faculty.

    Greetings, APCUG Region 2 User Groups --

     
    APCUG (the international computer organization your group belongs to) is having its second virtual conference; i.e. via the Internet. If you would like to 'attend' the conference, it's only three steps to set up your computer with iLinc, the program the organization uses for online presentations.
     
    The conference is on Saturday, February 25 and will run from:
    Eastern - 1:00pm - 6:00pm
    Central - 12:00pm - 5:00pm
    Mountain - 11:00am - 4:00pm
    Pacific - 10:00am - 3:00pm Pacific time.
     
    There are two tracks; the presentations are 50 minutes each. You may attend one or more presentations on either or both tracks. The presentation descriptions note the suggested computer experience level for attendees: Beginner, Intermediate, Everyone.
