Java Users Group

The Java Users Group meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:30 PM at the Scotch Plains Rescue Squad building.

The Java Users Group is a forum for discussing beginner, intermediate, and advanced level Java programming. Topics will primarily focus on developing useful/practical applets and applications, but can include related topics such as Java I/O, JavaBeans, Reflection, object-oriented programming and software design issues. Meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month at the Scotch Plains Rescue Squad second floor meeting hall starting promptly at 7:30 PM. The agenda for each meeting is as follows:

  • Random Access 7:30 PM 8:00 PM
  • Java Q&A and/or short Java API Presentation 8:00 PM 8:30 PM
  • Main Presentation 8:30 PM 10:00 PM
