Meetings start at 8:00PM at the Scotch Plains Rescue Squad building
in Scotch Plains, NJ. There is frequently a guest speaker
on a topic of general interest to computing buffs. Topics

Lenny used the Pinnacle "Movie Box" and the "Studio" video editing software. ( Version 9 updated to version 9.4)
to demonstrate the editing and burning of movies to DVD and other media.
ZS4 Video Editor was suggested as an alternative application.

Arnold Millstein
Arnold extoled the virutes of Golbal Positioning System uses and abuse.
He had several versions and varieties from some early to the latest from Delorme.
While the GPS could not get a fix inside the room, Arnold demoed some PC GPS applications,
showing some of the tips, tricks and problems with them.

Jef kept the audiance in their seats by discussing what the nation, state and specifically the counties in New Jersey are doing to detect and prevent crime. How one should react when one is the victom of computer related crime, and what one should and should not do for or with the police to ensure best results. He then detailed how one should protect one's self in the event one is accused of a computer crime.
